Colors remind me of Egypt

Alexandria

Alexandria

I’ve never been there, but these colors just felt like Egypt to me.  The quilt is 49 x 56 and has a nice border that is not showing in the picture.      This quilt happened because I had a few leftover blocks from a quilt I had made for my nephew Nathan.    I only had a few of the triangles therefore I had to make more, and then arranged them into a different configuration.

Nathan's Variation

Nathan’s quilt was inspired by a pattern from a Kaffe Fassett quilt book.

Beautiful colors, and your “Paint Chips” is a work of art too. That jacket that you and Clay created is very smart, shown on Clay’s website. Good work in creating the design, Clay. And you Donna, for putting it all together.
