Together Again
It’s been a few years since we were together…all together at the same time. I’ve been to David’s house and Mel’s…Mel and David spent a couple of holidays together at Dave’s gulf coast house. The last time all three of us were together we took a genealogy trip to Kiowa county with Mom. That was a few summers ago and as I recall, the average temperature during that trip was 98 degrees…in the shade.
So looking through my picture file I found this group shot, probably taken during our Salt Lake City years. I’m guessing this has to be about 1965. The remarkable thing is that I haven’t changed a bit during the intervening 45 years while Mel and Dave have aged quite a bit.
Looking forward to spending a week with my siblings. Tough to get together when one lives in Atlanta, one in Houston and the third in Arcata, California. Can’t get much more spread out than that.
I’m looking forward to the 3 of us being together with Mom. I know she’s really excited too. We need to try to do this more often!
doesn’t Clay have the same glasses as Dave?
It appears that what goes around comes around. A couple of weeks ago I sent Clay a picture of Dave Sr. in those glasses circa 1968. I believe Raymond Sr. had something like this also? In 1980 I had big red Sally Jesse Raphael glasses….we’re a stylish bunch.
I remember your red glasses & how much you loved them!
