This afternoon Durry and I attended an “art event” for the Redwood Arts Association. Twenty-eight plein air artists were set up in the LARGE Wells garden out in Bayside. The Ultimate Quilt Guild Challenge Honorable Mention. So as a group, we came in “4th” out of the 17 guilds that were juried into the show. We don’t know how many guilds actually entered. Mine is the 4th quilt from the left — titled: “8/28/07, 8:28pm”
I have now put all four sections together, and then added some extensions to the rose petals so they would flow into the border. My original section is the top left quadrant. Soon I will had lots of quilting attempting to pull the sets into a greater whole. The original photograph is on the left.
