My Cabrini-Green Public Housing quilt was “juried” into the show at the Morris Graves Museum. It’s in the main room.Â So what if it’s in a corner.Â There are three awards given in the show, but nothing has been announced yet.Â The museum is open today(Saturday), but is closed for the holidays until next Friday.

St. Lucia Lights

Let the holiday season begin.Â St. Lucia Day (December 13) is the start ofÂ Advent. These lights are on the Smith’s deck.

New Pond at the Marsh

A new pond is being created at the northwest portion of the marsh.Â It’ll be fun to see how quickly the rainfall will fill the depression. A group of water foul have already found the new pond.

New Menu Items at Los Bagels

There seems to be a daily bagel special now. Today was their new curry spread……..cream cheese, curry powder, grated carrots and lime zest. I had mine served on a toasted jalapeÃ±o. Durry had one of their new egg dishes…..ham and cheese scrambagel. The scrambled egg is cooked in a cup in the microwave
